Temptress: A Legacy of Elegance and Performance
1937: Origins in Portsmouth
Built in 1937 and designated as Z33, Temptress began her journey in Portsmouth. While the exact date of her arrival in Gibraltar remains unknown, she is believed to have been among the first of her kind in the area. Remarkably, she has retained her original name throughout her storied history - one of the few boats who can say that!

1970s: A Vibrant Transformation
In the 1970s, under the ownership of Mr. Falquero, Temptress sported a striking bright orange hull, a bold look that made her a standout vessel.

1980s and Beyond: A Shifting Palette
The 1980s saw Temptress in the care of Mr. Leon Peralta (Snr). Later, she was owned by Sergio Garcia, who gave her a new look by repainting her hull in Racing Green. When Mr. Ludo Leroy acquired her, he opted for a return to her roots, painting her black to match the original hull color of the Victory Class after being unable to find a suitable green.

2000s: A New Chapter of Excellence
Andrew Fritchie became Temptress's proud owner around 2006, ushering in a new phase of her legacy. A few years later, she was entrusted to Monty Spindler and Chris Keightley-Pugh, who transformed her into a competitive and successful racing boat.

2021: A Labor of Love
In 2021, Tom Hillman joined the Temptress team, much to the delight of Monty and Chris. Hillman spearheaded an extensive maintenance project, restoring Temptress to her former glory and ensuring her continued legacy as an elegant and capable vessel.
Today, Temptress stands as a testament to timeless craftsmanship and the dedication of her owners through the decades.

A Labour of Love:
The latest restoration was a true passion project for Tom Hillman. Undertaken with care and dedication, she was completely stripped back. In the process, a fascinating glimpse into its history was revealed, with each layer of paint telling its own story from years past.
