Victory V7 - Genista
About Genista
The story and history of V7

Genista, as she is known today, was built by H. Feltham in 1934. Originally called Zeta, she was given Sail Number Z13. She was based in Portsmouth Harbour where she had 3 different owners over her first 12 Years before being sold to Gibraltar. She was one of the first boats in public record to have been sold to Gibraltar in 1946.

Renamed to White Rose in Gibraltar and given Sail Number V13, she was later renamed to Genista, the original name for Odyssey, V4. It is not known when her Sail Number changed to V7.

She was completely rebuilt by her owner Bruno Gautaland during his ownership and maintains the same original varnished hull she was given then.
